Kimberly and Jonathan planned their destination wedding at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Amelia Island! We love this destination for its Southern Low Country Island charm. The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island has one of our favorite ocean front lawns where you can have a beautiful beach front ceremony or reception without being on the sand!

Katie and Eric are high school sweethearts who grew up in Orlando but moved out to the other Orange County…. California. When Katie and I first started talking about planning her wedding I knew she wanted a whimsical dreamy day! Katie’s bridesmaids were dressed in shimmer blush gowns and Katie wore a princess ballgown by Reem Acra. The ceremony took place at the gazebo of the Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful Florida Spring sunshine. We hope everyone had a magical holiday! We are looking back at some wonderful weddings as we feature them on our blog. Up next is Rebecca and Kyle’s romantic garden style yet modern blush, burgundy and greenery wedding with touches or gold and crystal taking place in the grand ballroom at the Four Seasons Orlando. We also love that we have time lapse video on this wedding to show both their wedding ceremony and reception going up from start to finish. The ceremony is a great example of when we are forced to change our plans the day before due to weather and make what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, into a ballroom ceremony where we have brought the outdoors in. Their blush and burgundy modern garden reception had everyone dancing all night with the Hit Factory band, passed late night bites and a confetti blast to end the night. Today we are featuring one of our favorite venues in town, The Ritz Carlton Orlando. We love the Ritz for their white glove service and beautiful spaces. It is always such a joy to create spectacular events on this property and work with their amazing team! We look forward to many more to come! #rcmemories
Diamonds are a girls best friend, so are our puppy’s right? There are many things to look for when finding the perfect ring! Whether you like a classic Tiffany solitare, a pave band, pear shape, marquis, emerald, princess…. we believe in finding the ring that fits you the best! Diamonds are the most durable stone and are the best for daily wear, although I do not recommend wearing your ring at the gym, or any work around the house (if you must ;) ) Purchase a secure ring dish or small jewelry box to place by your bedside table and ONLY place your ring there when you take it off. If you get into this habit you are less likely to take it off in random spots and misplace it. But also this way you will be taking it off when you should be and prolong the life of the ring, the metal and prongs. Take it from me, I am a gemologist and have some great tidbits! I also love fabulous jewels!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all! We are still creating amazing weddings and providing the same personalized service as always. There is just another level of service and we are adding on! Très Chic Southern Weddings will be taking care of all of our Month-of coordination brides and some partial planning clients in Central Florida at our favorite venues, such as Four Seasons Orlando, Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton and Bella Collina.
Whitney Carillon Events will be the planning firm for all of our Full Planning and Partial Design clients, along with all Corporate events. WCE also is based in Florida, NYC and Atlanta.
